Land](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/power-solutions-land) , [Commercial](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/commercial) , [Product Information](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/product-information) --- swyMed, a provider of industry leading telemedicine and connectivity solutions, unveiled its next generation DOT Telemedicine Backpack with an integrated Acumentrics, Inc. portable power and data system. DOT is a lightweight, mobile telemedicine solution that enables high quality, reliable, real-time video physician consults even in the most remote areas or on-the-go, thanks to the Acumentrics Pack-Power™! Leveraging swyMed’s patented video technology, the DOT Telemedicine Backpack delivers smooth, reliable connectivity for Mobile Integrated Healthcare, at the lowest bandwidth in the market. *“Our customers have relayed many stories of how swyMed’s technology has helped them provide quality care in crisis situations as well as in community care programs,” said Stefano Migliorisi, CEO of swyMed. “Faced with COVID 19 social distancing restrictions on in-person visits, the DOT Backpack, integrated with Acumentrics Pack-Power™, offers medical practices an off-the-shelf solution to quickly transition in-person work flows, policies and diagnostic equipment to a portable, user friendly telehealth/telediagnostic backpack that works in any location. Innovative hospitals and healthcare systems count on us to provide a consistent, high-quality connection to a physician, saving not only time and money, but lives as well.”* The Acumentrics Pack-Power™ allows the DOT Telemedicine Backpack to operate anywhere, anytime. Pack-Power™ is a small, lightweight (2.5 lbs.), splash and dust resistant smart system that provides up to 100W continuous regulated power and up to 9 Hours run time. It can be recharged from any source, including solar panels and vehicles, while simultaneous providing full output power.  Pack-Power’s internal USB Data Distribution Hub allows a tablet, hand-held PC or other computing system to be networked with multiple medical devices for easy “plug and play” configuration on the fly.  Acumentrics SVP of Sales and Marketing Steve Corbesero said, “We developed Pack-Power with Telehealth applications like swyMed’s DOT in mind, especially when care requires diagnostic instruments in addition to real-time patient-doctor communications. The COVID 19 Pandemic has accelerated demand for telehealth. Pack-Power can be easily embedded into any telehealth kit, allowing uninterrupted, quality patient care in assisted living facilities, homes, or in the most remote locations in the world.” **About swyMed** Time-critical mobile telemedicine consults require simple, fast, and highly reliable connections. While many solutions fail beyond the hard-wired four walls of a hospital, swyMed’s patented technology expands telemedicine care to places where it was previously unavailable, powering truly mobile exceptional-quality live video encounters, even at the lowest bandwidths. swyMed’s proven, reliable, easy-to-use solutions, including the DOT Telemedicine Backpack and the DOT Mini, give care providers the ability to connect to doctors for real-time video telemedicine — anytime, anywhere. swyMed’s innovative technology is used by providers in rural hospitals to connect to specialists, for Remote Patient Evaluation (RPE), home health, EMS/critical transport, tele-stroke, mobile telestroke and Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) programs in thousands of encounters throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East and India.” ## Topics - [Press Release (23)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/press-release) - [Military (16)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/military) - [Product Information (13)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/product-information) - [Rugged UPS (13)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/rugged-ups) - [Commercial (11)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/commercial) All Topics - [Press Release (23)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/press-release) - [Military (16)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/military) - [Product Information (13)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/product-information) - [Rugged UPS (13)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/rugged-ups) - [Commercial (11)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/commercial) - [Power Solutions - Land (11)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/power-solutions-land) - [Power Solutions - Air (8)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/power-solutions-air) - [Events (6)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/events) - [Power Solutions - Sea (5)](https://blog.acumentrics.com/tag/power-solutions-sea) ## Recent Posts #### Acumentrics Announces Global Expansion to Meet Surging Worldwide Demand for Rugged Power Solutions [Read More](https://blog.acumentrics.com/acumentrics-announces-global-expansion-to-meet-surging-worldwide-demand-for-rugged-power-solutions) #### Acumentrics Partners with Tritek Solutions to Expand Market Presence in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest [Read More](https://blog.acumentrics.com/acumentrics-partners-with-tritek-solutions-to-expand-market-presence-in-northern-california-and-the-pacific-northwest) #### Acumentrics Partners with Vic Myers Associates to Expand Market Presence in the Western United States [Read More](https://blog.acumentrics.com/acumentrics-partners-with-vic-myers-associates-to-expand-market-presence-in-the-western-united-states) #### Acumentrics, Inc.
